  1. Great clip as always. Quick question. I have seen a couple of places where they supposedly use the “Balik” method to quantify the pleural effusion but they measure differently: they measure the distance between the base of the lung and the diaphragm. For example at Soni’s book chapter 33 (trauma). Is this accepted also as Balik? Is that a different method? Is it reliable? I think there is some confusion out there.
